Nu Deco Ensemble is a dynamic 30-piece hybrid orchestra based in Miami, co-founded in 2015 by arranger Sam Hyken and conductor Jacomo Bairos. With a vision to reinvent orchestral music for the 21st century, the ensemble seamlessly blends classical, contemporary, and popular genres to create transformative musical experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.

Renowned for their genre-bending performances and innovative collaborations, Nu Deco Ensemble has worked with a wide array of acclaimed artists. Previous collaborators include Jacob Collier, Masego, Larkin Poe, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Durand Jones, Robert Glasper, Wyclef Jean, Madison Cunningham, Kimbra, X Ambassadors, Lawrence, JP Saxe, Stephen Marley, Tank and the Bangas, Cory Wong, Emily King, PJ Morton, Luke James, BJ The Chicago Kid, Ben Folds, Tune-Yards, and many more. These partnerships have allowed the ensemble to push musical boundaries and reach new audiences.

In addition to their live performances, Nu Deco Ensemble is committed to community engagement and education. They reach over 10,000 children annually through their interactive Imagination Series and have established a youth ensemble to nurture the next generation of musicians. This program offers instruction in various musical styles, composition, and leadership skills, emphasizing wellness and community stewardship.

Recently signed to Sony Music Masterworks, Nu Deco Ensemble continues to release new music and content across platforms, garnering millions of views worldwide. Their releases, such as the EP Duende, feature classical reimaginings of contemporary hits, showcasing their ability to bridge the gap between traditional orchestral music and modern sounds.
